Ekaa Weaves is a direct-to-home saree brand built around two simple promises: honest prices and real artisans. Every saree we ship starts on a loom in a weaving cluster across India — Banaras, Kanchipuram, Chanderi, Maheshwar, Patan, Pochampally — and arrives at your door without the wholesale markups that traditionally double the price.
Why direct-from-cluster?
Most sarees on the market pass through three to five hands before they reach a customer. Each handler adds a margin, the weaver loses bargaining power, and the buyer pays for an opaque supply chain. We work with co-operative groups and family looms in each cluster, paying weavers up to 40% more than the city wholesaler price, and pass the supply-chain savings to you.
Where we weave
- Banaras (Uttar Pradesh) — heavy zari Banarasi silks, pure cotton Banarasis for daily wear.
- Kanchipuram (Tamil Nadu) — temple-border Kanjivarams in pure mulberry silk.
- Chanderi & Maheshwar (Madhya Pradesh) — featherweight Chanderis and reversible Maheshwari cottons.
- Patan (Gujarat) — double-ikat Patolas, certified by the GI registry.
- Pochampally (Telangana) — single-ikat Pochampally cottons and silk-cottons.
